So things have been going good until yesterday when Cory's tube got clogged and eventually came out of his stomach after we messed around with it so much trying to unclog it. So he went up to the U where they tried to put it back in, no luck with that. So they have it scheduled to be put back in on Wednesday. By the time he got home his stomach spasmed into a ball of pain like it does after he has the tube put in it. By the night the pain had calmed down. I basically feel like we can do without the bumps in the road, but they just keep on coming. Cory feels like he can do well enough without the tube so he has until Wednesday to prove this, I am tracking his calories and water intake so we will see how he does. The bumps used to feel like the picture above, but now it seems more like the littlest thing that goes bad feels like this:
So here's to another bump in the road!

I know you don't know me. I found your blog from a friend of a friend. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you seem to be an amazing women/wife. Good luck with your bumps in the road. Hopefully they won't become mountains but from what I've read seems like you will be able to climb those as well. You have a very beautiful family.
Amen to the first comment! I'm sorry you're having another bump...is he still walking and talking? Or is the pain too much?

Bumps can be fun. Just hold your hands up and go with it.
i am here anytime... i am excited to go eat... i love to eat....
try replacing "humps" with "bumps" while singing that amazingly insprirational tune "My Humps".... i think it just might be the cure for all those "bumps"!

Hey! It was good to hear from you. The last time you e-mailed me you weren't sure if your husband was sick again or not. Then I didn't hear from you so I assumed the worst. I'm so sorry. That totally sucks. I have to say you sound like a superstar with what you're doing. I guess we'd all do it for our husbands, but still, you're a star.
As for the infomercial, I'm not a junkie, but my friend in college was. One time I had fallen asleep on the couch around midnight and by about 2 or so I woke up. And she said "Why did you go to sleep?!" "I just saw the best infomercial on this thing, and well, I bought it" " it's so cool it makes chicken salad". Of course I laughed, and it showed up a week later, and she never made chicken salad.
