Imagination

Hayes came to me the other day and asked if I could paint his face black. Apparently he found an arrow and his imagination ran wild. I decided why not pain his face? Didn't know it would turn into something he would beg for everyday. I am a nice mom to let my kid run around in public like this. He can even do it himself now.

You have to have a gun with the arrow.
He posed himself.

Have some gum. Kids can not be the judge of measuring the bubble tap bubble gum or this is the result.

I think it's his Alias look :-} And oh how many times have my kids tried to consume the whole roll of bubble tape at once! Kali leaves for Germany tomorrow! I'm kinda a basket case at this point. Hope life calms down again on Monday, as we officially start our "summer".

Your cute Hayes makes me smile everytime I hear a story about him. He cracks me up. Isn't it amazing how simple life is to a child. Painted face, an arrow...you're good to go!! Love it!

I found an awesome quote about you Candace:

"Anyone can give up, it is the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength."

Rock on girl!

So cute. I really wish I had an ounce of your talent for taking pictures. I love that above quote. You are a perfect picture to go with it.

I will remember that about bubble tape-lol. You are the coolest mom to let him run around in public. I get asked the questions "what happened to your daughter" all the time in public and I have to sush people and say with a big smile, she wanted to put on make up to go out today-it really does look like someone boiled my daughter because she has blush all over her face and she's a strange shade of red/pink. I love the pictures,Hayes looks like he can take on the world!
